NORDIC TECHPOLITICS: Hear Creuna talk about digital citizen dialogue

Published 31 August 2011

On September 2, Nordic Techpolitics is held in Oslo. This is the conference for anyone interested in how technology is changing politics, government and society. Gaute Engbakk, head of Creuna Norway, is one of the speakers. He will show examples of how Creuna has worked with the public sector in Norway, Sweden and Denmark to strengthen the dialogue with citizens.

Nordic Techpolitics is relevant for anyone interested in technology and community development, whether they work for a political party, an NGO, media, academia, public sector or private enterprise.

The conference will explore how we can use technology to improve politics and governance, increase participation and create smarter solutions for everyday use/day to day life. One will also look at the dark side - how technology can change society negatively, and how it can be countered.

Behind the conference are Origo, Frisprog, IKT-Norway and MediArena, in cooperation with the Personal Democracy Forum in New York, the world's largest and most well-known conference in the intersection between technology and politics.

Among the introducers is Gaute Engbakk, CEO of Creuna. He will show how Creuna developed digital solutions for the Municipality of Stockholm, Copenhagen Metro and the Norwegian Parliament. Gaute has 12 years’ experience as a management consultant from Accenture and SAS Institute and has international experience from Asia, Europe and USA. Creuna helps organizations who want to combine advanced technology with innovative communications to create value and benefit to users.

The promise to customers is reflected in Creuna’s vision: Unleashing the full potential of communication in the digital age.
