Nordea chooses DDB and Creuna as its agencies

Published 19 May 2010

After an agency contest that was led by Hestbæk Consult, Nordea has now entered into a three-year contract with DDB and Creuna. This constellation will ensure the bank’s strategic and creative strength in all four Nordic countries.

Nordea opted to end its cooperation with its lead agency last fall and has since then been  seeking a new, long-term  and creative partner agency. Nordea has now found what it sought  in DDB and Creuna:

”Our strategic partnership contract with DDB and Creuna will ensure consistency in our communications. We are convinced that these agencies are engaged partners that can deliver strong and lasting creative solutions,” says Petri Nikkilä, who has been Head of Group Marketing in the bank since February 2010.

At Creuna there is jubilation over the outcome of the contest, and Group Managing Director Arne Hjeltnes looks forward to an excellent cooperation with Nordea and DDB:

”We are very proud that Nordea has chosen DDB and Creuna. We will be happy to continue our very positive and fully-integrated cooperation with DDB. For us, Nordea is a Nordic ”dream client” - and in tight teamwork with DDB, we will work tremendously hard to deliver value-creating solutions,” says Arne Hjeltnes.
