New website for Alexander Rybak

Creuna is behind the development and establishment of Rybak’s official website, launched October 1, 2009. The site was an instant success, generating a lot of traffic and activity.

Based on the fact that the target audience is young people who are often active on the internet, Creuna decided to develop a solution that to large degree was based on use of social media. Videos are put out on YouTube, messages on Twitter, pictures on Flickr and fan activities on Facebook.

For these, and a number of other channels, the website functions as a hub. Alexanderrybak.com directs the traffic, making the artist available across the different mediums and increases searchability. In addition, his followers can communicate with each other, and they are invited to post their own pictures, among other things. For people seeking concerts and tickets, Google Maps has been integrated into the website, which gives a full, visual overview of when and where the concerts are, relative to the location of the user. In addition, the website contains an official biography, contact information and press information.

Prior to the launch, Rybak’s management, BpopMentometer and Creuna decided to invite fans to participate in defining the content of the website. A blog was established that allowed fans to express their wishes and send inspirational links.
