The City of Stockholm has its citizens in focus. It’s time again for a new e-service at stockholm.se. By using this service you can easily apply for a heat pump license.
This week the City of Stockholm’s Environmental administration launched its new e-service “Heat pump – license application”. The service has been under development for close to one year and has already been a success. The service had a low key launch in January and it was quickly established that some 20 % of applications were made via the e-service. The long-term aim is to simplify the administration process, which should result in greater internal efficiency for the City and improved service for the citizens.
The service allows citizens to position the drill hole and at the same time see the location of their neighbor’s drill hole. You choose the angle and drilling depth yourself and receive feedback directly about your application.
The e-service “Heat pump – license application” which is integrated in the Environmental administration’s business system, has links to the City’s real estate register and comprises a number of geodata services that are integrated with the City’s map database.
‘This is an innovative e-service that is both easy and fun to use,’ says Lisa Cavenius project manager at Creuna. We have combined numerous underlying systems, as well as utilizing several technologies such as Flash, yet still ensured that the e-service is available to everyone and satisfies the stringent demands in WCAG 2.0 concerning public services.
