Libresse has scored yet another PR triumph. This time, its "Make your voice heard" campaign won gold in the international IPRA Golden World Awards.
The IPRA Golden World Awards are organized by the International Public Relations Association, and this is the 19th successive year that they have been run. The jury, which consisted of the foremost PR experts on the international scene, selected the Libresse "Make your voice heard" campaign as the winner in the Digital Media Relations category.
The online "Make your voice heard" campaign, which ran during summer 2009, gave girls all over Scandinavia an opportunity to design a message and share their innermost thoughts about issues such as menstruation, friendship, and love. A total of 14,000 contributions were received from all over Scandinavia, including 4,000 from Sweden. Hundreds of entries were selected for publication in The Blood Bible, a book published by Vulkan.
As part of the campaign, voice contributions from ten colorful, well-known women were auctioned off on Tradera. Participants included journalist Linda Skugge, musician Marina Schiptjenko, Swedish Idol Agnes, and television personality Kitty Jutbring. All proceeds went to the Swedish Red Cross Youth Girl Groups.
The online campaign was created as a joint project by Creuna, PR agency Prime, advertising agency Trigger, and Skugge & Co.
