For more than two years, Creuna has worked to make mobile phone web solutions available to the general public. We have created successful mobile solutions for JobZonen, the Århus Municipality libraries and the Safety Fund, among others. Most recently, Creuna assisted the Århus Municipality in launching one of Denmark’s first citizen services solutions on the mobile phone.
Århus Municipality launches citizen services on the mobile
Creuna has developed a mobile website for the Århus Municipality that enables people to become oriented with the municipality’s many offerings. Citizens can, for example, orient themselves on wait times and easily contact municipality employees.
Many perspectives went into the cooperation between Creuna and the Århus Municipality. The municipality wanted to make use of Creuna’s mobile experience to further develop their mobile site, adding new self-service solutions for people on the go. Sending notification of relocation, ordering a National health service medical card, getting information about waiting lists, and getting an overview of the nearest parking spaces are some of the possibilities.
With this solution, the Århus Municipality wants to create an alternative communications channel for busy citizens and reach out to younger citizens –and at the same time, gain experience in the use of mobile units for citizen services.
