Creuna vinder 2 Sitecore site of the year 2009

Creuna wins 2 Sitecore Site of the Year 2009 awards

Published 18 September 2009

Each year, Sitecore chooses websites that make the best use their technology in order to develop core business, and this year two of the prizes have gone to our customers. The Multiple Sclerosis Association has won in the “Best Non-profit website” category, and Copenhagen’s Metro can boast of having the “Best Travel/Transport website”.

Among the criteria for the awards are creativity, integration with other systems, ability to attract visitors, conversion to customers, provoking a response and the overall user experience.

Metro

Copenhagen’s Metro transports people quickly and effectively around Copenhagen, and further out into the larger world through its connection with the airport. At m.dk, passengers can find precisely the information they need about timetables and operation, as well as get help to plan a journey. In addition, residents of Copenhagen can stay updated about the expansion of Cityringen, and any impact it may have on them.
The solution was implemented on Sitecore’s CMS platform and is integrated with Google Maps and Reiseplan, among others

Multiple Scelrosis Association

The Multiple Scelrosis Association provides research, information and patient support to the approximately 9,500 people with multiple scelrosis in Denmark. In this mission, their website plays a critical role. Creuna has relaunched scleroseforeningen.dk, so that the site reflects the association’s values of openness, quality, partnership and focus on people, as well as their highest priority, handicap-friendliness.
