Copenhagen’s commuter train passengers need no longer concern themselves with what’s for dinner. They can easily figure it out in the train. Creuna recently developed the strategy, concept and identity of the new "Food on the go,” a new mobile entertainment concept where passengers can now watch as a renowned television chef, Henrik Boserup, cooks up inspiration on screens mounted inside the trains. With a single click or text message, passengers can also have recipes, video instructions and shopping lists sent directly to their cell phones.
The operator of Copenhagen’s S-train, DSB, has installed television screens inside the trains to provide passengers with news and entertainment on the go. As part of the new entertainment concept, Chef Henrik Boserup will produce a number of recipes and videos, which will be shown on board the trains.
In order to provide its passengers with improved on-the-go service, DSB sought the latest in digital technology and came to Creuna, which was responsible for designing and developing the new "Food on the go" concept. The concept consists of an online and mobile phone service, with cooking videos, shopping lists and tips for passengers.
Passengers who are inspired by a tasty meal can download the free “Food on the go” application to their iPhones from the App Store, or send “mad” ["food" in Danish] in a text message to 1900, to have recipes and video instructions sent directly to their phones.
