Royal Copenhagen is a world renowned brand, known for its exclusive porcelain products with perfection in craftsmanship and design. Royal Copenhagen's more than 500 employees work in subsidiaries in Europe, the US, and Asia.

The challenge

Royal Copenhagen wanted to take better advantage of internet related opportunities for marketing its products, while maintaining the spirit of artisanry and design in which they are produced. The key values for Royal Copenhagen were recognition and innovation. Website design and product presentation had to focus on the company's unique craftsmanship. It was also important that the solution showcased a modern and internationally oriented brand with a broad product selection beyond the company's classic porcelain products.

Royal Copenhagen selected Creuna as its partner for the project, on the basis of Creuna's expertise in digital strategy, communication and technology, as well as its experience with the implementation of international internet solutions.

The solution

Creuna has created a web-based communication and marketing channel that supports Royal Copenhagen's international web and business strategy. We have re-launched Royal Copenhagen's website, which in line with its marketing strategy ensures recognisability, involvement and commitment for customers all over the world.

The technical foundation is based on a combination of Sitecore for CMS and Microsoft Commerce Server for e-trade management. We have also delivered consultation and solutions for Royal Copenhagen's international online marketing, web analysis and media service.
