JobZonen is one of Denmark's largest online job portals, featuring a wide range of job advertisements from the country's leading newspapers. The portal has more than 100,000 unique users daily and a great number of employers place advertisements on the site every day.
The challenge
To keep up with users, employers and times, JobZonen continually takes steps to improve the various services offered on its job portal. In this regard, user friendliness and search speed in the job database are the primary methods of differentiation in a strongly competitive market; people now search for jobs online, and it has to be fast! The ambition was therefore to create Denmark's easiest and fastest job portal. JobZonen selected Creuna to help turn its objectives into reality, based on our experience with users, design, content management and advanced search solutions.
The solution
Creuna has delivered an entirely new JobZonen, based on an advanced search engine from FAST. FAST is among the world's leaders in enterprise search. Their intelligent search technology has enabled JobZonen to rethink the portal's user interface.
The visible facade of JobZonen only comprises a fraction of the solution. Hidden underneath is a robust framework of systems and tools that empower employees in their daily work with the portal's operations. These include a comprehensive advertisement administration system, advanced statistics and various forms of self-service solutions. The solution is easily managed via the user friendly and functional content management system, Sitecore.
